Jamel Dean and Giovani Bernard Ruled Out vs Patriots

According to Bruce Arians, the Buccaneers will be without CB Jamel Dean and RB Giovani Bernard on Sunday in Foxborough. Dean and Bernard both suffered knee injuries against the Rams.

The team has been struggling in the backfield both running and catching so Leonard Fournette and Ronald Jones II need to get it together this week along with Ke’Shawn Vaughn. The Buccaneers pass defense right now is the worst not only currently in the NFL but in NFL history giving up 338 yards a game. Losing Dean is a big loss but Richard Sherman will be active to help fill that void when needed.

If Sherman is a “just in case” like coach Bruce Arians said, then expect Mac Jones to attack both Ross Cockrell and Dee Delaney as Matthew Stafford and the Rams did last week.
