Maybe Tom Brady should be stripped of his GOAT title.
Brady puts his pants on one at a time, just like you and me. And just like his Tampa Bay Buccaneers teammates, he had some rust to shake off versus the Cincinnati Bengals.
In one of Brady’s three whole dropbacks, a defender took him to the turf.
Bengals 6-foot-4 rookie linebacker Joseph Ossai came barreling through a double team of Tristan Wirfs and Alex Cappa to get to Brady on a third-and-10 play.
“He saw it coming and folded up like a cheap tent. Smart as hell,” joked Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians in a post-game press conference. “Just throw it away.”
Though Tom Brady should know better than to take a sack, especially in a meaningless preseason game, he’ll have a chance to redeem himself Saturday when the Tennessee Titans come to town.
